Research

The Institute for Nature Study covers an area of approximately 20 hectares and has recorded 1,473 species of plants, about 2,130 species of insects, and around 130 species of birds.
Regular surveys, such as tree censuses and fauna and flora surveys, are conducted on the institute grounds. Long-term data have also been collected on the habitats of rare animals.
